World War Z

Got dragged into watching World War Z on this fateful day after school.
I was never a fan of horror/scare movies; they are horrible and till now the scenes are still stuck in my head.
However for the sake of accompanying this guy, I decided to give it a shot.
The plot was so-so, but the zombies are DAMN SCARY?
Luckily my heart could take it.

No more horror movies from now.

Food For Thought

We decided to have lunch at Food For Thought since we were planning to go to Botanic Garden for a short walk.

Actually we were supposed to go back for CCA spring cleaning but since the weather looks fine, we decided on this plan.

Took quite some time to find the place because it was hidden very well among the greenery, and the place reminds me of a community centre since FoT only occupies the first level.

Words cannot express how happy I was to be greeted by the cool breeze of the air-conditioner of the restaurant because by then I was already sweating like a dog after the search.

As a big fan of ham, my usual order will be something related to it hence I feasted on this Ham Toasted Sandwich (I can't really remember the exact name for it)

While Mr Gu is a big fan of eggs (any kind of eggs you give him he'll eat) so he took this Breakfast Set which contains my favourite hashbrown as well wheeee.

Well we definitely had a good meal, the food was really up to standard :)
Cheers!

First Baking Session

It was the day right after our Term Exam so we decided to go on a date, or some sort of mini celebration with just the two of us heh.

I have always wanted to try out baking but since my house doesn't have an oven, Mr Gu came up with this place -Tools of the Trade (ToTT) located in Bukit Timah for us to experience baking together wheee.

It was supposed to be an ATAS supermarket selling all sorts of kitchen ware and furniture but there's this mini kitchen for kids to bake while their parents shop, as well as this mini Japanese Restaurant for customers to dine in after some major shopping --- sounds like the ATAS version of IKEA? Hahaha.

So we decided on Chocolate and Strawberry dough... I was rather sad because I expected to be baking FROM SCRATCH but instead they already had the dough prepared.

The dough was rather oily though, thank goodness for plastic gloves given to us.
All we had to do was to knead the dough into our ideal shape and sizes (there were moulds given to us as well), but being creative, we came up with our own designs after some time...

We made like panda, dolphin, monkey which after baking turned out to look like an obese cookie.

Went for Ice-Skating at Kallang Leisure Park afterwarads... my first time ice-skating!
Cheers!
